The most darling sweet shop you could want to find! Staff was super friendly and helpful. They were genuinely excited to tell me about all of the different sweets offered, at 10pm, no less! The Macarons, cupcakes, and brownies were as delicious as they were pretty!! Try the Almond gelato! A must see in the French Quarter!!

My hubby is still talking about the cookie he had from this place. He got the mudslide cookie which is a cross between a brownie and a cookie…gotta love food science!

Yes the cookie was $6, but it’s hard to put a price on my husband’s happiness. Gotta live it up in New Orleans! NOLA!!!

We were happy to see this but don’t believe this location has opened yet. It looks like it will very soon. The countertops are in place and they have some products displayed. From eating at the old location on Conti Street and Exchange Alley we can say the sweets here are excellent and the service has always been first class.

This is not a review of this location. This is a review of the Original magazine location. I visited it 9 years ago. I never reviewed it like I wanted to. So hear is my late review. I bought 6 French macarons for $2 apiece, each a different flavor & they were fantastic! $2 was a little over the going rate at the time, but worth it. I also had a slice of King cake & loved that also. $4. I felt it was good value for such quality. I hope this Sucre is the same owner. The magazine location closed as I understand it. I'm planning another trip to NO & I think I would be a little hard pressed to pay $6 dollar for one cookie.

I'm hoping Trump will bring prices down & I wouldn't be planning this trip if he didn't get elected. The Sucre I visited was soooo good. I hope to visit Sucre again.

This location opened up Summer of 2024. It has less seating than the other Royal St location but offers the same delicious gelato, macarons, cookies, cupcakes and desserts. I was pleasantly surprised to find it randomly one warm October afternoon.

5$ for a small black coffee! crazy prices!! Sucre you should lower your prices so you actually get locals that want to go here. Sucre you are genuinely price gouging like crazy. the prices don't offend me there is a difference.

Very rude service, “Gelato” was not good. Extremely sugary with no flavor in each flavor.
2 scoops was $15. Beware tourist trap.

Cute shop. Really poorly trained staff. I went here twice for coffee and it was wrong both times. I order Americano, so hard to mess up…

The ice cream is VERY watered down, not creamy or good at all.
