Cute pastries shop~~ It feels like I've found a treasure. If I weren't full, I would have wanted to eat it all." Also, the staff was so friendly and explained all the pastries.

We needed a birthday cake on short notice, and thankfully, Patisserie Too had a 5” mango cake available. They also had a wide variety of personal size cakes in adorable animal themes (rabbit, dog, pig, penguin, and Hello Kitty). Our party really enjoyed the mango cake - it was the perfect sweetness level and full of flavor. Sweet enough to taste like a dessert but not overwhelmingly sugary. I was pleasantly surprised to find a slice of mango inside the cake. The mango texture was a fun contrast to its soft cake-y surroundings. The entire cake sat on top of a cookie base (shortbread cookie?), and the crunchiness of the cookie also enhanced the range of textures in this dessert!

The cakes were also well packaged. They taped down the personal size cakes we bought so that they wouldn’t slide around inside the box. This attention to detail and their friendly and helpful service overall made this a really pleasant shopping experience!

Patisserie Too is a new patisserie shop in San Gabriel that has a variety of pastries. The shop was formerly associated with Tony Wong, but it changed its name after they split up. It has a spacious and covered outdoor seating area, which is rare in this area and ideal for bringing your furry friends.

The pastries look appealing and colorful, but they are not very flavorful or unique. I tried the mystery cake box, which gives you 4 random cakes and 2 macarons for $29.99. It was a fun way to sample their products, but none of them stood out to me. The cakes were moist and sweet, but bland. The macarons were crunchy and chewy, but forgettable.

The only thing I really liked was the green tea latte, which was creamy and refreshing. The staff was friendly and helpful, but that was not enough to make up for the average desserts. It has potential, but it needs to work on its flavors and originality. It’s a decent place to have a dessert and relax, but not a place I would go out of my way to visit.

I love this spacious, modern, clean and well lighted patisserie. The cakes and pastries are edible works of art. We came here after brunch elsewhere and had no room to try the coffee and tea offerings. The pastries we sampled were all light, delicious but not too sweet. The sesame mango lava, the passion fruit macaron and the mango Napoleon were my favorites.
The staff were patient and helpful. I think they are used to customers having a difficult time deciding what to order.
There’s plenty of outside seating and sufficient parking space.

Lots of variety as long as you come early! Personally I'm a fan of the fruit tarts. Especially the raspberry one! They are a little bit pricey but the taste is great and of course, there's the patisserie name value. Love that they sell Tea Forte teas as well.

Great customer service! The cake turned out beautiful and was perfect! We ordered the smallest size hazelnut crunch cake and it was perfect 5 adults and 2 kids. The ladies working were so kind and sent reminder calls. They also provided a bag with ice packs for the drive. Thank you for the excellent service and cake!

The pastries are good but on the expensive side. We got 4 pastries and two macarons and it was $41. The pastries are about $9-10 each and the macarons are $2 each. They are still doing a soft opening and their grand opening is July 8th. Also if you get two cake pastries you get a hot tea. We got the peach nectar tea and it was really good. I recommend you stop by and try the pastries.

Hit and miss. Tried almost everything by now... And the flower cake is not my favorite. The chocolate petals are quite thick... Just eating 1 petal is a lot of chocolate... And it's so thick that it's not possible to cut. My favorite is the hazelnut one. Also tried the cinnamon twist, and their pastry is very dense... Would not recommend.
