Philippe

I tried the Nutella Cruffin and Cappuccino, they make an excellent combo. The Cruffin was warmed up a little based on request, it had crunchy layers and just melted in my mouth. The Cappuccino could've been better. The ambiance is amazing!!

I came here specifically for a nice decadent croissant sandwich, but when I saw the crepes, I decided that was a better choice. The food was just ok. They didn’t have all the ingredients to make what I ordered, a crepe that was supposed to come with organic greens… no greens. They also did not have any forks to eat with. You were directed to ask another restaurant for eating utensils. There was only one employee and it was a holiday. She was very nice, but I think she was overwhelmed by the patrons not happy about the lack of forks. She told us they were out of a lot of supplies.
I don’t think I need to go back, but The cappuccino was great.

We won an Instagram giveaway and were able to order a giant crookie for free! The staff was extremely nice and the crookie was really good!

We tried a few pastries here. It looked amazing, but the taste was not doing any justice for the looks. The wow factor was not really there for how it looked . It just tasted fine but not exotic. The price was definitely high for the experience. Have had better pastries at many other places. Might try them again for their macarons and bakery stuff.

Attention to detail, unmatched in SoCal.

Very French cornucopia of confections and petite mange.

Very delicious, beautifully presented and amazingly French.

We tried several flavors of incredible macarons and the French pudding. All incredible flavor and textures.

The lady that appeared to be the owner was milking about perfecting every little detail, making the offerings look spectacular.

The environment is a laid back, but high end fancy eatery. Very tastefully and professionally designed, full of artistic touches and strong California themes.

GO ELSEWHERE.TASTE NASTY.SKIP THIS PLACE.UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE (with zero reading comprehension skill, maybe learn how to read before answering tu es a cote de la plaque avec ta reponse. It reflect poorly on u and the business , make u look bad and stupid just sayin ? and 8 month for a rude answer u had time to think about & an insult + im french is all u came up with ? Wow color me impress maybe try to expend your vocabulary ? Also ur ignorance is showing there is plenty of non french cooking tremendous french food. Nationality doesnt equal quality nor garantee taste or authenticity ?‍♀️u learn something new today ) NOT TRADITIONAL FRENCH .calling a customer liar because they dont like constructive criticism lol wont be going back nor recommend it to anyone seeing the attitude.ONLY INSPIRED french yes and i stick by it. Just because the bakers are french doesnt mean the receipes are automatically traditional or good. No one said bakers arent french , just that the TASTE wasnt to the level expected .clearly they cant read...so i dumb it down. the pastries dont taste like the one in france.taste like a fusion or experimental ? not traditional.plenty of other bakeries in La pasadena or oc that are more elevated yet taste traditional like france.dont be fooled by the look, taste isnt there. While the location itself is beautiful and they are multiple restaurent around . There is beautiful lights its very artsy you get that beach / ocean vibe and feels kinda on the higher end .the shop itself is very small the pastries choice are very limited the staff couldnt care less not very welcoming and very poorly train. The pastries are very grossly overpriced . You can get fresher better tasting one at moulin for 8$ not 11$ . The pastries were dried old the cake been sitting too long . I had the rose cake it was a hot mess the sponge part crumble and is over soaked . 35 $ for a tiny cake go to LA or orange county they got better ones . I drove 2h+ to try this bakery i was beyond disappointed by it . Wont be coming back . Guess you are paying for the "ambiance" but not the taste . I will stick to moulin for delicate true french sweets.

I don’t often come to this part of town and actually had trouble finding this location. Look up. It’s above Jimbo’s. Take the escalators to the left and you can’t miss it when you reach the top. There’s plenty of seating, a good menu, and a good vibe. We went for crepes, which are a little pricey, but look where you are and it makes sense. The crepes were great, and we took a chocolate cake to go which was top notch. If you’re in the area, check out Parfait Paris.
