These are absolutely decadent. I simply cannot recommend this establishment enough.

We got a classic butter croissant, passion fruit raspberry tart, and a Turkey Swiss sandwich. The croissant is light and flaky and just expands into its layers. It had a small sweetness that complements its texture. The sandwich is served on a croissant, and the really blooming of flavor comes from their Dijon mustard.

The passion fruit raspberry tart deserves its own lines. It is tart, sweet, and the custard is incredibly light. I savored it slowly. It is worth your money.

Our coffees (black and cappuccino) were also lovely.

They do run out of their pastries at before noon on the weekends, so get their earlier. This is to be expected since it is a high class bakery.

I was really looking forward to visiting Marc Heu Patisserie, drawn in by the beautiful outdoor seating and elegant dessert displays. At first glance, the ambiance felt promising, and I appreciated how they arranged their menu.

I ordered four different desserts, which were visually stunning and beautifully decorated. However, the flavors didn’t quite live up to my expectations. As a sweet tooth, I was hoping for something exceptional. The chocolate croissant was a bit hard rather than soft and puffy, which was disappointing. The passion fruit raspberry tart was lovely in appearance, but it had a stronger lime flavor than I anticipated.

On a positive note, the pain au raisin was fresh and delicious, and the shimmering cannele had a nice texture, although the caramel inside could have been better balanced.

I also noticed that many items were already sold out during my visit, indicating a rotating menu. I think I’ll give it another shot to see if my experience improves, but for now, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

We visited Marc Heu Patisserie Paris and had a chocolate croissant, chocolate pistachio escargot, and a chocolate chip cookie. I got an iced hazelnut mocha with oat milk, and my husband had the iced lavender honey latte with oat milk. Both drinks were good, and the pastries, especially the chocolate croissant, were flaky and layered well. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the cafe. Although it wasn’t busy, most tables were dirty, and the bathroom needed sweeping. The selection of pastries was also underwhelming. For French bakeries, I prefer Tour Les Jours or Paris Baguette, which offer more options, including savory items, and maintain a cleaner environment.

This has been in my list for dessert places to try and they did not disappoint.
Every bite was divine.

They're not your typical bakery which has all kinds of pastries in a display cabinet that you can choose from. You pick which one you like and they'll get it at the back.

The lady explained to me that they change their special menu every 3 weeks. Some of the pastries are always available though.

I had the passionfruit raspberry tart but I took home two other desserts. The tart was scrumptious. The other two, which I forgot which was which, was decadent.

$10 each but it's worth. Will definitely come back!

Stopped into this legendary location and was excited for true French croissants. The parking here is horrible. Good luck finding a spot. Picked up a few croissants and chocolate chip cookies. The croissant are only okay. Not very flaky or crunchy The inside is tooo bread like and not enough of that soft texture inside. I think the croissants are too big. Should focus on the correct baking technique over size and wow factor. The cookies were only ok. Nothing I couldn’t make at home. Probably will not be back. The passion fruit tart was delicious.

We showed up too late and everything was sold out except for some dank cronuts so that’s what we got, and a hazelnut latte, and it was fantastic. Love the ambience, very reminiscent of Paris. The patio is big and beautiful! I’ll be back, earlier!

Amazing croissants and pastries in St. Paul. My hot apricot tea was tasty. My pistachio chocolate chip croissant was amazing. Worth waiting in line for on a chilly spring Sunday morning. There is seating inside like a regular coffee shop,however, noticed most guests made purchases taken to-go. Very pleasant experience. Very friendly and helpful service! Will definitely be back this summer to sit outside!
