This bakery should be illegal to exist!

Everything is amazing in this shop. The highlight from our trip was this square lavender(?) croissant! So pretty and even more tastier than it looks!

The service has always been superb. They’re nice and so patient with you because there are so many choices!

This place is awesome! I've been looking for really rich milk tea, Hong Kong style, and they have it! I also got a curry chicken pan; slightly sweet, chewy bun with savory filling. Excellent for an on the go snack. There was a wide assortment of other options and they all looked good. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely check them out!

To be honest, the bread and cake are so plain… no flavor at all… I'm not sure if the baking chef is good at baking or not…
The mocha Swiss roll fill will plain cream inside... the sponge was very dry… This is the lack of the knowledge of the baking... the Pain au chocolat was the worst I have ever had. Lack of using the ingredients are not healthier baking. It is wrong baking.
I know this baker is famous for somehow, but the famous does not mean all his bakery is good. And I do not believe he made all the bakery from his hands.

Ordered BBQ & Curry buns, steamed rice cakes & buttercream buns (not pictured).

The buttercream was pure white. Didn't taste like butter cream. Tasted more like lard & some sugar. The rice cakes wasn't very sweet either. Texture of the bun & rice cake is perfect, just that they should be slightly more sweeter.

I'm Chinese in my 60s, so I know what I'm ordering & what they should taste like. The buttercream should have a slight yellow hue to it & have a buttery taste. The rice cakes should be sweet.

The BBQ pork & chicken curry buns are good. The bread is fluffy, tasty & slightly sweet. There is a good amount of filling.

They are a little more pricey, but would rather pay more for good quality food. I hope cost of raw material will come down, otherwise, I won't be able to shop here often.

Such an amazing gem in Arglye! The cafe is cute & the lady helping us was the nicest person ever.
They have a beautiful assortment of pastries and sweets. Every single thing looks better than the next.
The Ube buns are to die for.

The place is clean, the food is delicious and the person at the counter was extremely nice. They greeted us and offered to take as much time as we needed to decide from their amazing selection of desserts. They made our drinks perfectly and even waited till we were done to close the store (we hadn't realized we got there not long before they were to close, although we did leave a min after their closing time coincidentally!). Most of their desserts are affordable. We ended up buying one of their pricier pastry, but it was the most delicious pastry I've had in a while. Even the espresso drinks were excellent. Will definitely make another visit when I am back in town.

I’ve been coming to this locally owned Asian & French bakery for years and it should not be missed. Pastries and breads are incredibly delicious & super fresh. Prices are very reasonable, everything between $2-$3. Owners & staff always have a smile on their face. I’ve had the BBQ bun, spicy Korean BBQ bun, plain croissant, chocolate croissant, ham & cheese bun, and the taro bun.

The young lady working the counter today was very sweet and friendly. We came at the end of the day, so a lot of items were sold out, however, we were still able to get our hands on some goodies (sponge cake, coconut buns, custard buns and egg tarts). The bakery is always fresh and delicious and we would gladly recommend this place to anyone. ?
