We stopped by for desserts around 3 pm on a Sunday and the assortment was very low but we still found some pastries we enjoyed. We ordered to go and everything was packed carefully. I loved the Ruby cake - the texture and flavor combinations just phenomenal! I would like to return to try some croissants.

Beautiful French pastry shop. Everything is well presented and the setting is a perfect blend of French and Charleston. Unfortunately my quiche was visibly burned, and the lemon meringue was not as good as it looked. It was also uncomfortably cold inside so I had to sit outside. With some minor tweaks this place could be perfect.

A delightful authentic French Patisserie, that reminds me so much of the bakeries I grew up around in France!

The croissant, pain au raisin, and frangipane were fantastic! Coffee was perfect. A must-stop as you pass through downtown Charleston!

We really enjoyed coming to La Patisserie. They had cold water on a hot afternoon, dogs are allowed inside, clean and nice bathrooms to wash up, delectable food options. We had the egg and cheese croissant, vegetable quiche, camellia dessert, chai latte, coffee, and smoothie. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was wide and open and we had plenty of seating for our large crew.
