What an amazing experience! I was gifted the 45 minute Garibaldi flight for my birthday and it was awe inspiring!

We originally planned it for a few weeks ago, but the weather wasn't cooperating so we were rebooked. On arrival we were told it would be bumpy, and if we wanted to rebook again it would be no problem. We have experienced turbulence and did the tour anyways.

Our first take off had to be aborted, because we weren't getting proper lift off in time. They had warned us it would be bumpy so this wasn't a huge surprise, but it got the adrenaline pumping! Second time around we took off without a hitch.

The flight was incredible. The views were stupendous. Colette was a personable and interesting guide, and we enjoyed learning about the area from her. We flew up the Mamquam valley, over Elfin lakes, behind Garibaldi Mnt, over Garibaldi lake, past Brohm ridge and then over the Chief and Squamish city. The landing was incredibly soft, which was a pleasant surprise! By the end I was dazzled by the extraordinary views, and before I left their office I was already researching other scenic tours we could take with them. I will definitely be back for the 60 minute ice field tour in the future.

The one disenchanting part of the experience was that we had arrived and checked in early, and no other customers were around, but we weren't collected for our flight until about 20 minutes after our booked time. Next time we won't feel so pressured to rush through hwy traffic to arrive early.

Regardless of this one hiccup, we still felt we had a 5 star experience and couldn't believe how affordable this tour was compared to other operators. Flying in a private plane felt SO boujee and special. Thank you Glacier Air for an unforgettable bday adventure!

I did the flight on August 27th with a group of colleagues. The weather was a mixture of sun an clouds. Our pilot, Rick, did an excellent job of weaving between the clouds to show us spectacular scenery, from a glacier (sadly disappearing due to...well that is another story for another time), to Whistler and the Squamish Valley. Rick is a great pilot and a knowledgeable tour guide and kept us apprised of what we were looking at. Between Rick and Collette, a pilot herself, who checked us in and showed the five of us how to safely fit in to the wee plane, we all had a very memorable experience seeing that part of BC that one would not normally see unless you were an avid backcountry hiker. I highly recommend flying Glacier Air if you want to see some of the wilds of coastal BC from low altitudes.

Curious soul

The mountains are big, impressive, jaw dropping, but without an experienced guide, who has over 1000 hours of flying these mountains, who can take you places that are not accessible except by air, to show you glaciers and deep valleys and glacier lakes and waterfalls and evergreen forests or ever white Mountain peaks, you will only see a small percentage of Squamish and Pemberton here in Canada, and still, it will make an impact on your life adventure.
Hire Glacier Air pilots to maximize your life experience; maybe your other life, if there is one, won't be on this Heaven.

It was such a great experience with Glacier Air. The staff was tremendously helpful and accommodating with the weather for our tour in the valley and up the glacier. I got to ask my girlfriend to marry me flying around Ring Mountain's peak and it truly was the perfect moment for both of us. The view up there is just incredible and a must do for everyone who wants to experience the mountains from up above.

This was a fantastic birthday present from my partner! Colette took us on a lovely tour, and adjusted the flight plan to see what I was hoping to see. It was absolutely breath-taking and fun. She gave us some history/geology lessons about the areas and pointed out great backpacking trips. She also took the time to take some pics and send them to us afterwards. It was a great time and I would recommend to anyone! Thanks Colette!
