Visited this bakery during a recent trip to New Orleans and it did not disappoint. I visited during breakfast hours but they have an all day menu for lunch and dinner too that includes plate dinners, sandwiches, and salads. I ordered donuts and a selection of pastries during my visit. The donuts were light, and airy and not overly dense like some bakeries sale so they were very good and did not last long. I also bought a few croissants and a cinnamon roll and they were good too.

When I arrived, the bakery was already out of several flavors of donuts, which I would have liked to try. I am not sure if they would restock those or not but it would have been nice to get some of those but perhaps it is a testament to how good the place is. I enjoyed my food and would visit again.

Nice chill spot with hella options. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent and I love the choices of cold foam they have, the ube one is not too sweet and has the perfect aftertaste with the Vietnamese brew. Their garlic fried rice special is divine with the crispy chicken thigh and a dab of Chin-Su hot sauce (available at their condiment bar). Definitely coming again to try more pastries and sips!

I tried it out a few weeks ago. They have a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. It was busy and I was not used to the menu items. I saw fried chicken on their window ad and thought I would try. I could not decide what to get once I got inside. The dish I inquired about and chose was unique. Some sort of rolled sticky rice with different meats. It was heavy with onions.

I recently visited Dough Nguyeners Vietnamese Bakery and overall had a positive experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Although my order was incorrect, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Despite the mix-up, I was still satisfied with my visit and would recommend this bakery to others looking for good Vietnamese cuisine. One standout item I tried was their ube coffee. The unique flavor was a delightful twist on my usual coffee order, and it quickly became a favorite. The rich, creamy texture combined with the distinctive taste of ube made it a truly memorable drink. I also had the chance to try their ube cookies, and they did not disappoint. Soft, chewy, and bursting with flavor, these cookies were a perfect complement to my coffee. They struck the right balance between sweet and savory, making them an excellent treat. The combination of great food, a warm atmosphere, and friendly staff makes Dough Nguyeners a bakery worth visiting. Even with the minor hiccup in my order, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I look forward to returning to try more of their delicious offerings. Four stars!

Excited and really wanted to love this place.

However, it left more to be desired

Bread was the hardest. and driest I ever had. Either it's left out or reheated. But if extra dry and crispy if your thing. This is your place.

The presentation was decent.
Other items were decently flavored.

Speed of service is on the crafty end so allow yourself some time.

Pricing is on the high end of the spectrum for the type of food. But its the cost of business in today's market.

The atmosphere is nice.

This cold brew coffee is seriously the best I've ever had! If I could, I would buy it by the truckload. It's always consistently amazing and perfectly brewed. And don't even get me started on how much I love the cold foam. In addition to their fantastic coffee and drinks, Dough Nguyener's also offers a delightful selection of pastries and dishes. The staff is super friendly and I love the building and decor.

Newly opened, very popular but worth the wait. Vietnamese food with their own unique spin. I went with the hope of having their chicken dinner but unfortunately hadn’t read the fine print about it not being available to order until 11am. Although I was disappointed, the food that I did end up getting was enjoyable. Enough so that I will be back another day (at the appointed time) to try the chicken dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating, parking available. It is a bit more pricey than other places in the same category but still great portion sizes and flavor. Wings flavor were a bit more fish sauce potent (vs blended with the other flavors) so on the future if I order them I’d probably ask for the sauce on the side if possible. Otherwise the fry on both the wings and the chicken for the Bahn mi were on point.
