Très déçu n’a rien d’une boulangerie française, les viennoiseries ne sont pas bonnes, établissement pas propre non plus, café n’arrange rien que de l’eau !!!

Top notch pastries. Service is very high quality for a counter-service restaurant, staff is very friendly, polite, and goes out of their way. It’s clear they care! Good coffee and lovely food too. Try the avocado toast!

Racist Establishment.
I visited this place this morning intrigued by the cute decor and delicious looking pastries. I stood at the counter of pastries and cakes for a few moments and made eye contact with three staff members who didn’t care to greet me or say good morning. As I waited for someone to acknowledge me, I noticed that customers WHO WEREN’T BLACK came in and were greeted and helped- even though I entered the establishment before them. It wasn’t until a group of three customers came in and were greeted and helped that I finally called it what it was… RACISM. As the group of three were being helped. The cashier left the register, came to the display of cakes to show the group of three and pastry and I asked him, why wasn’t he helping me and he threw his hand up as if he were shewing a fly and said “whatever” to me. Thats when I asked him out loud for everyone to hear… “IS IT BECAUSE IM BLACK THAT YOU’RE NOT HELPING ME?” Then and only then, did I FINALLY RECEIVE ANY TYPE OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. And I want to thank the man that was in line behind me because he completely validated my experience. He seen how I was ignored and didn’t agree with it. It’s so said that all because of a skin color, I can’t receive the same treatment that white or lighter skin people receive and when I call it out, I’m considered a problem. To make matters worst, the people who enable this type of behavior are even minorities themselves. Disgusting.

Anyone who patronizes this establishment, in my eyes, is also a racist.

Went here with the wife after a doctor's visit.
Ambiance is less than excellent but the place is clean and service was great. We ordered cappuccinos, eggs over easy for the wife and French Toast for me. French Toast is my go-to dish for breakfast at a new restaurant.
The coffees came quickly. They were quite large, which surprised us. However, they were very good with a good amount of foam, but not too much. This gave us high hopes for the food.
The food arrived soon, delivered straight from the kitchen. The wife's eggs were to her liking, the bacon was crisp, the toast was dry and there was a small bowl of chopped fruit, too. The wife was delighted with everything.
I was also delighted with the French Toast. Without fear of contradiction, I can say it was the best French Toast I have ever had. The toast was fluffy and stayed that way for the whole meal. The bread was brioche, I found out later.
The portions were large. I couldn't finish mine, which is really saying something. The wife joined the 'clean plate' club and that is also saying something.
All in all, we were very pleased with our choice for breakfast.
The inside decor is straight from IKEA, but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was worth going back for.

Bottom line: worth a visit. A bit expensive but that just might be the dinosaur in me. It was $40 for the whole shebang and we got to watch the doings on Wilshire Blvd.

Update (13 Feb 2024): Went here again today. Only self-serve now (I guess they have to pay their people more so they eliminated that to save money. ) Order at the counter, about the same price and food quantity. There was a different taste to the French Toast today, not bad, just not as good as before. Wife was pleased with hers.

Still worth a shot.

Parking at the back.

Incredibly tasty croissants! We stopped here while on our morning walk. We selected a few croissants:almond, chocolate and ham and cheese. Every single Croissant was delicious!

We opted to find a table in the back patio Instead of inside or out front on the sidewalk on Wilshire. Inside the tables are a bit close together.

I saw several folks getting things to go for a large group.

Free parking lot in the back.

Fruit tart was excellent but latte was too large (expect American-style) and milk wasn’t steamed very fine; had to take some points off for service as I asked for dine-in, tipped and ended up with disposable cutlery and drinkware which is awkward and detracted from the experience. Probably best to come here for just the pastries

The place is cute, service could be better. I asked for my eggs to be well done and I had to send them back and it still wasn’t well done. The sausage was dry. My friends enjoyed their omelettes, not the best but it was good.
